Progress2Work and Link Up
Progress2Work is a Jobcentre Plus funded programme which was initially created to provide a ‘signposting’ service to people recovering from drug dependency. Since Eco-Actif won this contract in 2002, we have expanded this programme to create a holistic service providing for our clients needs. We are also the only provider in the South East to have successfully combined Progress2Work with Progress2Work Link-Up, which takes the programme to offenders, ex offenders and recovering alcoholics. Over the last year alone, these programmes have engaged with over 200 clients, including serving prisoners and homeless clients. Despite the barriers these clients have to overcome, over 40% have entered sustainable employment.
We have managed to secure Progress2Work and Link Up contracts until September 2010, providing continuity and stability, vital elements for clients who would not normally engage with mainstream programmes.
CSCS Health and Safety Training

Anna Burke, Training Director, presenting CSCS certificates at Bromley Field Studies.
Since 2006 all construction workers have needed a recognised health and safety qualification, The CSCS Health and Safety test. We have written a bespoke training programme aimed at addressing the difficulties some of our clients face, but also suitable for the general population. Having piloted this very successfully, with a 96% pass rate, we are now offering this training as part of a construction course run by our partners, Construction Skills Centre, Wimbledon.
We would be happy to adapt this course for a number of client groups and locations, so please contact us if you are interested in providing this valuable qualification for your workforce or trainees.

New for 2008-9: workshops for 10-14 year olds and a ground-breaking girls only programme – All ‘Bout Me is currently delivered in Merton and Sutton – watch this space for news of programmes in the Croydon area.
